"Great Expectations" by Charles Dickens

“Great Expectations” by Charles Dickens

I would just like to say that I am not disappearing from Magic Pens, although it may look that way right now.

This entire week from April 22 to April 28, 2007, I have been so busy with so much work that I have only been able to scribble down 745 words off of Magic Pens. I feel so tired as I write this due to the fact that I have not done anything “fun” since last Saturday. I am not kidding when I say that this entire week, every single day, I have woken up, gone to school, came home, did homework, and gone to bed. Even on this weekend and last Sunday, I have done nothing but homework… I have just been so swamped with work that it’s ridiculous. Well, I just finished now at 5:00, after working so long, (staying up to 3:00 in the morning on Saturday just to wake up at 10:00 today and start working again,) and am proud to declare that I have some free time! Sorry to say that I will not use this time to write…I’m just not in the mood. Right now I am so unmotivated and am just in a really cruddy, grumpy, and crappy mood, like always when I work too hard.

As for reading, (for homwork, might I add,) I have read 77 pages of Great Expectations, written by Charles Dickens.

Now, to do something fun…but crap. I have to draw our cover art…Let me get started on that.

Try to find some time to yourself. Even if it’s not writing or drawing. A week without any joy is a shame.

If it makes you feel better, I’ve written more this week than I have in a while. Not sure why that would make you feel better, though…
