I also read the last 198 pages of Timeline written by Michael Crichton and the first 156 pages of The Grapes of Wrath written by John Steinbeck.
Whew. You finally finished Timeline. You’ve been reading that for a while, haven’t you?
Yeah…I don’t really read that often, and it was 496 pages or something.
Ugh THE GRAPES OF WRATH….not a bad book I guess but as Mrs. Nelson says the first 50 are dirt….oh and don’t forget the turtle….
I was SO hoping we wouldn’t have to read that, but SURPRISE Mr. Upton decided that we ought to do it. And just when I was starting Wicked too.
Yeah, and that turtle crossing the highway? What the heck! I thought Rachel was kidding at first.
