This week from December 10 to December 16, 2006 I have written approximately 3,860 words on Magic Pens and 2,030 off. This comes up to be a total of 5,890 words.
For reading, I did better this week. I read The Cask of Amontillado written by Edgar Allan Poe, The Necklace written by Guy de Maupassant, and 7 chapters of The Little White Horse, written by Elizabeth Goudge. (It was like 94 pages or something.)

“A Cask of Amontillado” by Edgar Allan Poe

“The Necklace” by Guy de Maupassant

“The Little White Horse” by Elizabeth Goudge

“Eragon” by Christopher Paolini
I plan on reading Eragon soon since a couple of people (not in Magic Pens,) have told me that my main story, The Horse From the Woods, is just like it. I watched the movie and it wasn’t anything like my story, so I hope the book is the same. If you have read Eragon, please read my story and see what you think. People are telling me that it is just the prologue.
Ah, two of my favorite stories in freshmen English. Did you like them?
Whoo! That’s a lot of writing.
Well I liked The Necklace, but not The Cask of Amontillado as much. The Necklace’s story was pretty cool and it gave a good lesson. I liked how everything worked out.
Maybe I’ll get around to trying a comparison, but I’m not finding much time for the big stuff lately. Not to mention that Internet at home is cut down to homework only.
I still wish I could match you in writing. 😀
Well that is a shame. I bought my own laptop so I can write all the time.
Oh, I’m starting to hate knowing all these people who can afford to buy their own computers. Now the tally is two, you and Matt. Well, maybe I shouldn’t say Matt because his dad got it for him.
Yeah, that doesn’t count. I raised enough money from babysitting for about 2 hours every school day and about 5-6 hours every weekend for about two months. I raised $500 which is almost the lowest amount that you can buy a laptop for at Best Buy, but I bought a good one that was on sale that day. I have a Compaq Presario V5000.
Yeah, I need a job, but as I don’t have my license yet, it’s a bit hard to find one. I’m going on a major job hunt this summer.
If I can find time, I guess I’ll read the prologue.
You? Eragon? I can’t see the comparison. Confused much?
Did you read my prologue?
