As I have previously mentioned, I have an Eragon problem. Two people who are not Magic Pens members have told me that the prologue in my main story, The Horse From the Woods is just like Eragon. I have seen the movie, yet I heard that it was different from the book and plan on reading it soon.
If anyone here has read Eragon please read my prologue and tell me what you think. Is it really like Eragon?
This week from December 10 to December 16, 2006 I have written approximately 3,860 words on Magic Pens and 2,030 off. This comes up to be a total of 5,890 words.
For reading, I did better this week. I read The Cask of Amontillado written by Edgar Allan Poe, The Necklace written by Guy de Maupassant, and 7 chapters of The Little White Horse, written by Elizabeth Goudge. (It was like 94 pages or something.)

I plan on reading Eragon soon since a couple of people (not in Magic Pens,) have told me that my main story, The Horse From the Woods, is just like it. This week from December 3 to December 9, 2006 I’ve written approximately 4,120 words on Magic Pens. I also wrote about 4,000 words not on Magic Pens, (roleplays,) for a complete total of 8,120 words.
For reading, I didn’t do as well, (I never do,) as I read one chapter of The Little White Horse written by Elizabeth Goudge and I read The Lady or the Tiger written by Frank R. Stockton about three times. I also read The Adventures of the Speckled Band written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

We held a vote at our meeting and have chosen a white hoodie. If 30 or more of us buy one, the price will be cheaper, so pre-pay for yours before Winter Break! Matt’s ThermoNuclear Warhead idea will be located on the front in a pocket size, and my outline for the scroll and dragon idea will be located on the back in a large size.
Since many people have complained about my idea’s clutter, I’ve created some different variations. One variation has the items displayed around the sides of the scroll along with the top to reduce the clutter, and the other has the objects a little behind the scroll. The first picture is just a touch-up of the original. Please tell me what you think of them!
From a few people asking me to run, I have decided that I shall. Thanks Mr. Gifford for persuading me. 🙂
I think that I would make an excellent choice for a Magic Pens officer as I’m on Magic Pens every day and have attended every meeting so far. I will continue to write a review of every meeting I attend for those who did not attend.
With a Blogline account set up, I’m aware the second that a new post is put out which would help me read posts as soon as possible. I check everybody’s blogs everyday and I try to read as many of everybody’s stories that I can. Everytime I read a story, I also comment on it giving tips, errors I’ve found, and my favorites, etc.
As a writer on Magic Pens, I try to keep up with our goals and I write almost every day. I’ve posted many posts, and I try to post at least two to three every week. I’ve drawn many different T-Shirt design ideas, and have looked at all of the other ideas for our hoodies. I’ve recruited a new member, and I speak with members that have not posted for a while, in person, to remind them that their blog still exists. I’ll also help people change the appearance of their blogs.

This week from November 26 to December 2, 2006 I’ve written approximately 2,330 words on Magic Pens and finished reading the last half of Silas Marner written by George Eliot.
I’ve also written over 40 posts!

I’ve finally convinced my good friend, Hannah, to join Magic Pens!
She now has her own blog running!
I noticed that I’ve written many stories recently and I’m asking for some feedback! I ‘ve posted many varieties of writing including 1st person and 3rd person, a long chapter story, a short chapter story, short stories, different perspectives on the same story, and a memoir. I’m asking for simple answers to these questions…
Any other suggestions or comments?
I was thinking about it and since I’ve bought a new computer, I now have much more free time.
If anybody would like me to decorate their blog, just ask. All you will need is a background color preference and a picture. The only decorating I can do right now is add a header, (like the dragon I have,) add a bar to the side of the sidebar or add images to the sidebar, add dividers after each post, change the more button, change the font size or type, add a small image before the title of each post, and change the color of the background.
If you would like any of these things done, just ask!
Mr. Gifford contacted the T-shirt company and they informed him that they don’t accept drawings that’ve been shaded, so he’s asked me to outline my logo and erase all of the shading. If my logo is chosen to be on our T-shirts, here is what the final picture will most likely look like.

Mr. Gifford suggested that I tweak my original T-shirt design with the different genre representations around in a circle with a scroll that says Magic Pens.
